Over the last few years, we’ve hosted several luncheons for the City of Fullerton employees as a way for our church to show love and appreciation to them. After all, these are the people that keep our city safe, looking good and running smoothly. We count it a privilege to host them on our campus and to show appreciation to them in this way.
This year, on June 9, the city employees enjoyed a tri-tip lunch, an Olympic-themed trivia game with prizes and a raffle to win gift cards to local Fullerton businesses. Eddie Park emceed the event, along with EvFree elder John Schafer, who thanked the employees and introduced Fullerton City Manger Joe Felz, who also said a few words. There were city employees in attendance from the Police, Fire, Maintenance, Library, City Hall and Parks & Rec departments. If you know or see a Fullerton City employee around town, be sure to thank them for their service!
