Kids Crew Assistant
The Kids Crew Assistant teams with the Kids Ministry Director and Team to give supervision to the Sunday morning program and develops and leads organization of upcoming events and projects.
Reports to: Kids Ministry Director
Works: Part Time, 20 Hours a Week
Sunday Morning Assistant – 50%
Sunday Morning Preparation and Host—30%
- Checks in with Sunday morning program coordinators and helps facilitate Sunday morning needs
- Help connect new families to existing programs
- Handle and oversee emergency situations on Sunday mornings
Manage Check-in and Direct Connect for Sundays —20%
- Support Check-in specialist with set-up/tear down of check-in equipment
- Help walk families to classrooms and answer ministry questions
- Oversee with Admin needs for supplies and updates for check-in
Special Projects – 50%
Events Assistant —20%
- Plan and facilitate upcoming events with event coordinator
- Prepare and start early recruitment for large events like VBS
- Support in decorating, coordinating and running Family events
VBS Administrator 20%
- Run the behind the scenes oversight of VBS/Adventure week
- Lead Adventure week organizational meetings and form lead team
- Be responsible for reservations, recruiting and promoting
Staff Meetings and Connections —10%
- Additional meetings and conferences that are Kids ministry related
- Supporting families in crisis and difficulties
- Phone calls, emails, etc.
